Our client is a family-owned business that has been in business for almost 100 years with over 1,200 employees and 50 locations nationwide. They are the leader in tires/ tire services for commercial, industrial, and retail customers, from large fleets of tractor-trailers and construction equipment to police cars and family vans.
Today, they have an immediate opening and are looking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated, and experienced Plant Manager for one of their retread/warehouse locations. Excellent people skills and the ability to motivate employees are necessary skills. This candidate will administer company policies and procedures through leadership. They MUST have retread experience and a strong background in tire manufacturing. They will prepare schedules, assign duties, manage all safety, health, and environmental processes. They will review financial and activity reports to measure productivity and goal achievement. In addition, they will manage payroll and efficiencies for all employees within the plant. Reports to Director of Manufacturing.

What you will be doing:
Manage efficient daily production to meet KPI. quality and industry standards.
Works with a team in production or as required to meet daily goals.
Submits daily reports.
Must be able to perform or learn to perform all retread functions to proficiency.
Addresses all HR issues effectively as they arise.
Maintain a safe, accident-free facility and follows all safety guidelines.
Train employees to excel in job-specific functions.
Prepares and submits weekly payroll.
Manages raw material inventory to meet customer demand and prevent waste.
Works with location manager for oversight during daily operations.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Maintains a professional work environment and a positive image.
What you need to be successful in this role:
Excellent customer service skills, ability to multitask, and operate in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational skills are essential. Candidates must have management experience and a basic understanding of sales and commercial tire knowledge.
